| here we worked with painted masks in black, varying shades of gray and white. black paint fully opens up a section to reveal what hiding underneath, white leaves it fully covered and grays give you varying levels of opacity inbetween. | |

  these two images were combined with the same technique as the tutorial. mask was painted on the sky layer in varying levels of opacity. |

  a linear gradient which fades out to the right was used to combine these two images. the final image was then touched up with the eraser tool to bring the children out a bit more in the picutre. |

  i am not sure who is dreaming about who, but the same gradient mask used in the tutorial is bringing these two cuties together with ease. |
