Birds and More Birds

Now Linda should get a big kick out of Farron chasing seabirds. [Not to mention the giggles I can hear coming from Lori & Holly before they even see this.] Some people just don't know when to throw in the towel and admit the little feathered buggers have gotten the best of them. *Some* birds were friendlier than others, and I'll just bet any loyal student of the Taskmaster/mistress can guess which one was THE WORST!

Yup, here he is that same pesky little beast who has haunted me since the days of [ahem] Having Fun/PSP6.

You don't know how many furry, feathered globs it took just to get this little crop. He moves a heck of a lot faster than the shutter of a digital camera. But, if nothing else, I am persistant.. haha

This little fellow was a bit shy. He and his family came to visit us on our balcony several times a day and I think he decided he could tolerate the camera when he saw a corn flake gobbling fest going on in the sand. He was almost as hard to catch as the sandpiper, but that's because he's shy. Linda's buddy up there is just plain grouchy. Think it could be he was afraid I might whip out my Wacom and start pulling on his feathers again? Nah, he's just a grump!

Next we will move right along to my FAVORITE feathered subjects. These guys were the intended recepients of the cornflake pig-athon that brought the sparrow and the busy little brat out of hiding.

This particuliar gull was clearly the *leader of the pack * that day. I considered cleaning off his little nose, but the dirty face fits him so well, that it's gonna stay. I tried to follow him with my camera, at least as well as you can follow one seagull in a matching mass. I think you may be able to spot him in the crowd.

Head on over to the next page to join in the party.
