Spring is beginning at the Cathouse A few flowers are starting to bloom. The scents of roses and star jasmine are filling the air. Lilies are just beginning to show their bright yellow faces. Soon the planting of the annual flowers [all white this year] will begin. My plan is to tuck some soft asparagus fern between white impatients and cascade fragrant, white petunias from the planter near the door. |

Our Little Houseguest
For a short while, we shared the patio, our home and our hearts with a fiesty little fellow we called Ellis. He was found heading down the drain trap in the pool. When he had grown a bit, he decided it was time to go back to his wild roots and vanished from one of his afternoon patio walks like a puff of magic smoke. We of the Cathouse hope he made his way back to the lake and is happily devouring his favorite treat....flies. ewwww! [smile]

| That's all for the moment. I have a feeling I
will be taking a break for much of the summer as it's awfully hot and sticky
here in Tennessee. As the mood strikes, I may pickup that little camera
again...If I go into my usual summer hibernation, see you in the fall when
the newly revised photography classes begin. _^..^_ Farron |
